PRE CLINIC ACTIVITIES:

Tuesday Aug 16

Visitors from Japan picked up at Airport

Transportation from Airport to Party where “Homestay” arrangements will be coordinated

Pre-Clinic Party, Hosted by Eishinkan Dojo 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM

“Homestay” accommodations for visitors if pre-arranged

Wednesday Aug 17

Free time for shopping, Del Mar race track, beach, tourist attractions (Disneyland, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, casinos, etc)

AIKIDO BY THE SEA CLINIC/GASHUKU:

Notes:

1. All meals are in the Academy “Mess Hall” except for the beach barbeque on Friday evening
2. All aikido training classes will be held in the gymnasium

Thursday Aug 18

11:30 AM to 12:30 PM check-in at gymnasium. Receive room assignments and gift bag.

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Training class #1 with Ando Shihan

2:15 PM – 3:15 PMPM Training class#2 with Ando Shihan

3:30 PM – 4:30 PM Training class #3 with Ando Shihan

5.30 PM: Dinner

7:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Welcome party in the recreation room (snacks + non-alcoholic beverages)

Optional activities: Continue party at Coyote Bar & Grill (drinks, food, live music - not covered in clinic fee)

Friday Aug 19

8:00 AM: Breakfast

9:00 AM– 10:00 AM: Training class #4 with Ando Shihan

10:15 AM – 11:15 AM: Training class #5 with Ando Shihan

12:00 PM Lunch

Afternoon off for “free time”:

Option: 1:00 PM Departure (via “coaster train” for shopping and sightseeing in San Diego)

~5:00 PM Return on train to Carlsbad

6:00 PM Barbeque on the Beach followed by “Fire pit” get together

Optional activities: Continue party at Coyote Bar & Grill (drinks, food, live music - not covered in clinic fee)

Saturday Aug 20

8:00 AM: Breakfast

9:00 – 10:00 AM: Training class #6 with Ando Shihan

10:15 AM- 11:15 AM: Korobikai (Blackbelt) Seminar or “Ask Sensei” class

12:00 Lunch

1:00 PM - 1:45 PM Kids Class with Ando Shihan

2:00 PM – 3:30 PMPM Embukai - Demonstrations open to public and news media

5:30 PM Dinner

7:00 PM Transportation to Closing Celebration / Party location

7:30 – 11:30 PM (approximately) Party, Hosted by Shobukan Dojo

12:00 Midnight (approximately) Transportation back to Carlsbad

Sunday Aug 21

9:00 AM: Breakfast/Brunch

Morning free for tourist / beach activities

12:00 PM Checkout from Academy

OPTIONAL PACKAGE (Cost is being determined)

Champagne Brunch aboard Hornblower Cruise on San Diego Harbor .

Board Coaster train Sunday at 9:30 AM in Carlsbad.

Board Hornblower Yacht~ 10:30AM

Leave dock at 11:00 AM for 2 hour Champagne Brunch cruise

Dock at 1:00 PM and stay in San Diego for Shopping and sight seeing. Return on train or via homestay transportation in evening

Sunday afternoon (Aug 21) or Monday (Aug 22)

XXXX Transportation to Airport for return Flight to Japan
