Registered Instructor, International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation (IYAF)
Began Yoshinkan Aikido study in 1993 under Geordan Reynolds Sensei,
attained Shodan in 1995 and YonDan in Nov 2003. Berg Sensei is a graduate of the
American Senshusei course under Reynolds Sensei, and has been a participant in
numerous demonstrations world wide, including:

Reynolds Sensei's Yoshinkan Kenshu Center)
Ando Sensei's 10th anniversary celebration (Uraysu, Japan)
Chida Sensei demonstration (Irvine, Ca sponsored by Yoshinkan
Kenshu Center)
Aiki Expo in Las Vegas
and annual demonstrations at the Hana Matsuri Festival in Vista.

Berg Sensei began teaching Yoshinkan Aikido in Vista in late 1999
and shortly thereafter the IYAF Hombu dojo granted and registered
the dojo name Shobukan ("cultivate respect for Budo").
Berg Sensei periodically travels to Japan to train in Yoshinkan
Aikido and maintain proficiency in Yoshinkan technical (waza) and
spiritual (shin) standards.
Berg Sensei previously studied Japanese hard style karate (Hakua
Kai) and is also employed full time in the aerospace industry.
